How Can severe Concussion After A Head Injury Be Treated?

I have a moderately serious concussion, after a fall December 22nd, when I hit the top of my head on a ceramic flower pot - while falling on black ice. SInce then my symptoms have been increased dizziness, even though the headache is gone. I have a kind of sinus and inner ear pain, and am working on my balance. I ve been trying to start exercising again walking and cross-country skiing slowly for a short session, and suddenly my right calf is very sore and tight. I had an MRI the other day and they saw a small 11 millimeter benign tumor that my doctor is going to monitor, but this calf muscle is pain is worrying me?

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a neurosurgeon and plan for a CT scan to rule out residual injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
